Disclaimer:  Go Adventure Mom received the product mentioned in this post for review purposes.  All opinions expressed are entirely my own. I don’t know about you, but I happen to be quite attached to my water bottle!  Although I have been a long-time fan of Camelbak, I was hesitant to give a new water bottle […]

5 Family Friendly Things to See and Do in Yellowstone

From the geysers, hot springs, and pools to the lakes, forests, and wildlife, Yellowstone National Park has something to excite every visitor! As a kid, I dreamed of visiting Yellowstone and have fond memories of the experiences I had there with my family.  I used up rolls and rolls of film taking pictures of the […]

55 Family Friendly Things to See and Do in Arches

5 Family Friendly Things to See and Do in Arches

Jun 18, 2015

Arches National Park contains over 2,000 cataloged natural arches, making it the world’s largest collection!  Some of these are very small, but some are massive and will take your breath away.  I personally like to visit Arches at least once a year or so, just because it is one of those places that always fills […]

7Save Your Eyes! Why You and Your Kids Should Be Wearing Sunglasses

Save Your Eyes! Why You and Your Kids Should Be Wearing Sunglasses

Jun 4, 2015

Sunglasses are not just a cute fashion accessory anymore, they are vital to protecting the health of your eyes from the harmful rays of the sun.  Most of us don’t realize that our eyes can be affected by the sun just as much as our skin can.  I am pale and fair-skinned so I always […]

Nothing can prepare you for the grandeur of the red rock mountains that will surround you in Zion National Park.  It is absolutely breathtaking!  This past trip that we took was the first time hiking Zion with a baby in tow, so now I can confidently say that I have a great list of family […]

The Best Afternoon : Payson Canyon, Utah

May 21, 2015

I love to hike and camp so much that I could probably spend weeks at a time living out of a tent and exploring an area.  However these days, now that I have a 10-month old baby, usually our outings are pretty brief.  That doesn’t mean that we can’t have a great time in a […]

5 Family Friendly Things to See and Do in Canyonlands

May 14, 2015

Canyonlands National Park is a stunning area near Moab, Utah with sheer sandstone cliffs, deep canyons, beautiful rivers, and spectacular vistas.  Although I have been to Moab dozens of times, I always visited Arches National Park.  My first visit to Canyonlands was a few years ago, and I was disappointed with myself that I hadn’t […]

5 Family Friendly Things to See and Do in Grand Teton

May 7, 2015

The National Park Service is hosting a campaign this year to Find Your Park.  Twenty years ago, as a little girl on a family vacation, I found my park.  It most definitely is Grand Teton, and I have been back to visit almost every year since.  Seeing those mountains on the horizon lifts my spirits […]

5 Family Friendly Things to See and Do in Capitol Reef

Apr 30, 2015

I’ve visited the National Parks in Utah dozens of times, and I really believe that Capitol Reef is Utah’s hidden gem.  It is not very well-known and is so under-visited that you will feel like you have it all to yourself!  It is time to put this National Park on your radar and get out […]
