How to Set Up Your Cricut Machine

How many of you are excited to set up your Cricut Machine? The thing I LOVE about Cricut is that it’s so easy to use. In just a few simple steps, I set up my machine, without a problem and you can do the same. In just a short amount of time, you will be crafting your heart out.

Step One – Understanding what you can do

When I first got my Cricut in the mail, I was careful to read over all the instructions. I wanted to make sure I knew what I was doing. By setting up your Cricut correctly, you will have access to all sorts of fun crafts.

Step Two – Technical side of things

If you’re aren’t very technical, you may want to ask someone for help as you will need an operating system to get your Cricut to work. One of the first steps of setting up your Cricut is plugging it in and firing it up! And if you go to , this will help you set things up! You’ll want to go through the prompts, download Design Space and anything else it prompts you to do. I knew everything was ready when I could make my first design/cut.

Step Three – Know which machine you’re setting up

Cricut is awesome in many ways, but I love that they have different machines to fit different needs. They also have videos to walk you through the set-up process. This keeps things pretty simple!

  • Watch how to set up your Explore One machine using a computer here.
  • Watch how to set up your Explore Air machine using a computer here
  • Watch how to set up your Explore machine using an iOS device here.

Step Four – After the set up

After you have gone through the initial set up, you will be able to start cutting. It’s amazing all the different things you can do with your Cricut!

What was the first cut you ever made with Cricut Machine?

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.
