I have breastfed for a total of nearly four years so far and I have another year of breastfeeding ahead of me. It amazes me how difficult something as simple breastfeeding can be when you don’t have the right tools. One of the best things that happened to me this time around with breastfeeding was a free pump and another was trying out the Kiinde twist set.
What are more first thoughts?
I was overwhelmed when I first opened the packaging of the Kiinde set. There’s a lot to go through and understand. However, a friend sat down with me and walked me through opening the boxes and figuring out what was what. I gave it a few days and then decided I would tackle the review.
I pump and nurse on demand. I produce a ton of milk, so I like being able to pump. I was able to put the standard attachment on my Medela breast pump and it fit just right! I then screwed on the pouches and started pumping. It was pretty cool to be able to pump directly into bags and then store it right away in the fridge.
One of my favorite parts is the organizing system that comes with the Kiinde system. It’s sleep and fits right into my fridge without any issues. I don’t have a ton of space already, so this is a really cool way to store my breast milk in the fridge.
Will I use it again?
I look forward to using the Kiinde system in my future breastfeeding endeavors and I encourage you to as well! I promise it’ll make your breastfeeding life a lot easier.
