I remember when I was a kid my parents had this cabinet where we kept our collection of board games and whenever we used the dreaded term, “I’m bored” or we had a day where the weather kept us inside, we’d get together as a family and pick a game or two and spend the day enjoying the time we spent together playing. Among these games there was also a stash of the odd puzzle here and there. These weren’t as popular when we were children but as we got older it was a past time that we learned to enjoy with our parents. There was nothing more relaxing or peaceful than spending a quiet afternoon fitting the pieces together and feeling the pride that comes with finishing a new puzzle.
These days I’m happy to say that my own family has a cabinet, similar to the one I had growing up, that contains our favorite rainy day games and puzzles. Although some of them are a little worn and showing their use, we still love them and make use of them pretty often, especially on family night. Recently though, I was given the opportunity to work with Enlivenze to review their new Flipstir 3D puzzles; my family was thrilled to be able to receive some new, fresh takes on the old puzzles in our collection.
Established in 2012, Enlivenze philosophy and product concepts comes from over 20 years of involvement in the creative process. Bridging many years of experience and success in product and marketing innovation, art, and engineering and business, not to mention an affinity for the fun and quirky, Enlivenze looks to bring a little Smart Active Play to every day products.
The Fliptstir 3D Puzzles are the award winning new twist on 3D puzzles. Their patented design is sure to captivate young and old hearts when the player gives the wand a pull and shakes the puzzle pieces to scramble them; using the wand, ingenuity and gravity to solve the puzzle.
Finding new ways to connect with your family while keeping your routine fun and fresh can be difficult sometimes. We’ve found ourselves struggling to think outside the box on family game nights from time to time but I’m glad that we were able to work with Enlivenze so we could find new ways to spend time together without our family nights going stale.
