Tips for reaching your fitness goals in 2015
Working out? Plan it out.
If we’re being honest, we all know that it can be hard to find the motivation and inspiration to work out. I know there are some days that if I do not plan it out, working out just doesn’t happen. That’s why I have made something known as a motivation & inspiration list.
Check out my list and what keeps me motivated to keep working out, I hope it’ll also help keep you motivated for your goals.
My Kids
If you’re a mom, then it’s easy to use our kids as motivation for anything we try to accomplish in life. I keep pictures of them in my workout bag, so I can keep moving no matter if my mind’s telling me to stop. Sticking around for my children long-term is a main goal and I can do that by staying healthy and working out.
Old Pair of Jeans
I try not to beat myself up too much if I can’t fit into my old jeans, but I do keep them on hand. It’s a very tangibly motivating thing to be able to hold something in my hands and want it so badly. I keep those jeans on hand for motivation because then I know it’s a “real” goal so to speak. I’ve been there before and I have the motivation to go back when I can feel and see my goal right in my hands.
For the Energy
I know it doesn’t make sense to us, but working out truly gives me more energy! I wish I understood the complexities of it, but I don’t. All I know is that I feel better, look better, and want to do better when I have worked out.
