Kid Friendly Vacation Locations
Taking a kid friendly vacation does not need be stressful. In fact, it can be a lot of fun. As a parent, you just need to know how to make the vacation you’re heading on kid friendly.
The Mountains
This place has to be one of the most kid friendly places in the world. There are so many family friendly places to visit while you’re in Tennessee. It’s best to go in the fall months when the tourist season has died down. There is so much to do and see, your whole family will love it.
Water Parks
You may not know it but water parks are a great for kid friendly vacations. They’re the perfect place for the whole family to unwind and have fun together. The great thing about water parks is that you can usually get a great deal on a room and a water park pass together. Keep your eyes peeled for great deals at a destination like a water park.
Beach Resorts
One of the best places to stay when you have kids is a beach resort. This is one of my favorite destinations because everything is typically included in the price. Eating out when you have a semi-large family can be expensive. That’s why it’s important to pay attention to exactly what you’re getting when you book a beach resort. There can be a few fine lines to make sure you read through and not all beach resorts are created equal.
Other Important Tips
When booking any vacation for the family, there are things I always ask about. Does the hotel or resort have a mini fridge for my kid’s snacks? Is there a microwave to heat up food? We also need to know if there is an adjoining room to the hotel, five of us can no longer sleep in one hotel room. These are all important questions to ask. Never forget to ask if there is a crib provided too. You might need one of those if you’re traveling with a child under two. It’s always nice not to HAVE to pack one if it’s not needed.
