Where to Find Long Travel Skirts
If you are like most of us, come fall it is time to pack away those linen skirts and start wearing ones made of heavier material, In fact, you won’t see me wearing linen in the summer. No siree! Although I love the look and feel of linen, I just can’t keep up with ironing.
I love wearing active wear in my day to day of life. It stretches, it’s comfortable, it can withstand baby spit up, playing on the floor and thankfully doesn’t need to be ironed.
My Latest Challenge
My latest challenge this summer has been to find a longer skirt that isn’t so short. All the ones I’ve found at Target and REI don’t come below my fingers (or crotch). Because let’s be honest, no one needs to wear something that shows every line, nook and cranny. Me, I’d rather be comfortable and having ease of movement, especially with me having a young toddler at my side.
Mountain Mama makes a great maternity skirt that works well as a regular day to day skirt because it’s nice and stretchy.
This has become my go to skirt and LOVE it. It’s very flattering and my favorite part is that even though it doubles as a maternity skirt, no one can tell it’s a maternity skirt!
The longer Travel Skirt from Mountain Mama Maternity fits just above the knee and the material is ultra breathable and made from a tough super stretchy nylon/spandex blend, which also means it’s extra durable.
