The Color Run is coming to Salt Lake City

The Color Run Salt lake City

My friends and I ran The Color Run in Salt Lake City, two years ago and boy did we have a BLAST! It was so great to take time out of our busy schedules and do something fun together. The Color Run is one of my favorite races, mostly because it’s not a serious race.

Looks like we’re ready for fun:

Shout Color Run SLC

With summer wrapping up and school starting (we go back MONDAY…I’m still in shock), I am thrilled to share that I have partnered with Shout®, on a mission to inspire and enable Americans to have fun, live out loud—and get a little messy as the last hoorah before school! That’s right, they’re sending me and to The Color Run and FOUR lucky readers will each have a chance to win two tickets to be a part of my Team Shout®!

Thank you Shout®!

With more than one third of Americans feeling guilty taking time away from work and responsibilities, Shout® created the Shout It Out campaign as a nationwide call-to-action for Americans to have actual fun, even if it means making a mess. We love that Shout® has partnered with us on this run because it’s such a natural fit – we love adventure, having fun and are all about taking breaks from the everyday – especially with hectic scheduled on the horizon. My summer has been all about making time for friends, family and accomplishing new adventures, letting go and having FUN and this is an adventure you won’t want to miss, trust me! Whether you choose to walk or run “The Happiest 5K” you’ll be creating special memories that you can look back on next summer. We are already planning colorful fun ideas to wear at the run…I think we may need a tutu!

When we did the race two years ago, it was at UVU. This year, it will be in downtown Salt Lake at Washington Square. Top Outdoor Blogger-Color Run Salt Lake City

The Color Run is So Much Fun

If you’ve never done The Color Run, it’s so fun! It’s a 5k path around downtown Salt Lake City and there are various stops along the way where you get blasted with colorful chalk. By the end of the race you end up looking very colorful. The best part of the race is that it’s fun! I’m not a big runner, but love getting out and having fun. It’s the perfect race for people of all ages because we’re actually encouraged to let go of our worries, relax and get messy – how many times have we ever gotten a chance to do that?!
