This summer is already turning out to be a hot one.
I’ve noticed the kids aren’t drinking as much water. So, we’re working on teaching the kids about hydration.
My Farmor (father’s mother) was always an example of drinking lots of water. She told us that drinking water makes your skin beautiful.
The first thing we did was sit down and talk about hydration and how our bodies are made of water. Our kids are little, so we draw lots of pictures at our house.
Second, we let the kids pick out thier own container.
Third, we fill the water bottle with lots of ice. Ice always makes it nice!
Forth, when we are out and about I try to set the example by drinking lots of water.
