Adventure Mom TV shares what to wear when traveling

It’s the season for traveling! We are gearing up for a big road trip from Salt Lake to Seattle next week and thought we’d share some of our favorite tips on what to wear when traveling:

You’ll want to dress comfortably when traveling.

Shoes: Wear something that can slip on and off easily. I like to wear flat shoes like my Born ballet flats that slip on easily. The new Spring 2013 line is adorable. I like these yellow ones:

Socks: Wear or pack socks for the security check as airport floors are dirty and gross. Even if you aren’t flying, it’s nice to take off your shoes and let your feet breath a little.

Pants: Comfortable fitting pants are key. Find some that are breathable and lightweight in case you need to make a dash for your connecting flight. I like to wear my Lole travel pants that look nice but don’t wrinkle.

Light-weight sweater: Planes temperature is hard to monitor. If it’s too hot, remove the sweater.

Scarf: Can be used as an accessory, worn as a shoulder wrap or pillow.

Do you have a favorite item you can’t travel without?
