This week we’re heading off on an RV adventure from Salt Lake City to Seattle. Follow our adventure on twitter @adventuremomtv or use the hashtag #adventuremom.
Choosing an RV that’s right for you can feel like overwhelming, especially if this is your first time using an RV.
A few things to consider when choosing an RV to rent:
– Rental Center: Consider the location you are departing from and arriving. Does the RV rental center have offices in both locations? We chose Cruise America to rent our RV because they have over 130 locations across America.
– Size: This really comes down to the number of people that you’ll be traveling with and how many plan to sleep in the RV at night. Typical sizes are: Compact, Standard and Large.
– Price: Most RV rentals offer pricing breaks for longer rentals. Also, be sure to ask if they are running any specials. You’ll want to have an estimate of how many miles you’ll be traveling and budget in gas as well.
Hope these tips will help you as you choose an RV to rent.
Cheesy video, but gives you a good idea for what the RV looks like:
I didn’t know that they had compact RVs available. This would be really convenient for my wife and me because there are just two of us. It would probably end up saving us money too on gas.
