{Giveaway} What expect when you’re expecting

Have you read the What To Expect When You’re Expecting book? I have used it as a guide for both of our babies. This book has become the bible for mothers nation wide. It made me feel like I wasn’t alone in the expecting experience.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting is coming out as a movie and I have a chance for you to see a pre-screening of the movie. When I was expecitng our first, I knew the benefits of taking prenatal vitamins. Women we’ve gotta take our vitamins!

  1. This movie looks so good and funny! I expected to get morning sick but didn’t realize I would be sick the entire 9 months. I also expected my epidural to work and it only numbed me from the knees down.

  2. I expected everything that is happening to me right now since I am expecting number 7 and I have been through it so many times before. However, I have forgotten how very tired I would be! It would be fun to see this movie and probably a little too real!

  3. I would love to go to the screening! It’s been 3 years since I’ve been pregnant, so let me think…. I expected to be getting up in the middle of the night to pee, but I wasn’t expecting that it would start in the first trimester!

P.S. Summer, that sucks! I was one of those hateful women who was only nauseated at strong smells (particularly burgers or Mexican) and never threw up my whole pregnancy, hehe. Of course, I fully expect that to bite me in my expanded rear the next time around…

  4. Looks like a funny movie. I, like summer, expected to get a little bit of morning sickness since my sisters did. I was sick from 6 weeks to 9 months with extreme all day sickness. Zofran was my savior and I’m scared of getting pregnant again just because I was so sick!

  5. During my pregnancy, I expected to go to the gym every day. Not only did I never feel like going, but also I only wanted and ate crap. No one can truly explain how tired you feel when pregnant.

  6. How totally FUN!

I expected to love being pregnant, love feeling the baby move, love feeling that connection and I expected to get HUGE (like my mom) and have an easy labor (I expected to use an epidural)

  7. When I was pregnant with my first two, I expected to be uncomfortable sleeping, but I figured it would just be the last few months as my huge stomach got in the way. I didn’t expect that pretty much from the day I conceived I would have restless night after restless night, not finding a comfortable spot, finally getting comfortable only to have to get up and go to the bathroom for the 20th time that night….all in the first couple months. I just said goodbye to sleep after about 5 months.
I am excited for this movie and this giveaway. I am 9 1/2 weeks pregnant with our 3rd so this is good timing.

  8. What I expected: morning sickness for the first trimester
What I did not expect: All day, all night 24hr non stop puking sickness lasting 5 momths.:)

  9. I pretty much expected any miserable side effects I read about to show up. I was a tad surprised when my morning sickness lasted until 20 weeks. I didn’t expect at all to have my gall bladder go bad and be on a fat free diet my last trimester. With my second, I did expect to have morning sickness, but was surprised to not really have any…until the second trimester. The weird heart thing & pneumonia did come as a bit of a surprise though. Oddly, I actually miss being pregnant. I didn’t expect that either. ;o)
