Edible Peanut Butter Play-doh

Confession time, I hate play-doh.

It gets every where and my son is bored playing with it after a minute or two. An old co-worker of mine use to only let her kids play with play-doh out side. Now, I’m not that strict. but I am grateful for linoleum kitchen floors.

My son is a little chef. He loves to cook and has cute little red apron he wears. We found the perfect alternative to play-doh, an edible version.

I found this super easy recipe for edible Peanut Butter Dough. But I have to warn you. WARNING: This Play-doh is so dang good you might end up eating half the batch before you are done. It tastes like the inside of a Reese’s Pieces Peanut Butter cup.

Now that you have been warned you might be surprised by how easy it is to make.

Peanut Butter Play Dough

One 18-oz. jar creamy peanut butter
6 tablespoons honey
3/4 cup non-fat dry milk

Mix ingredients together, using varying amounts of dry milk for desired consistencies. Knead it with fingers, forming into desired shapes, adding other foods like M&M’s or peanuts for eyes, mouths, etc. Great fun!

Storage: When not using, MUST be stored in an airtight container.
