3 Fun Nature Crafts to do with Kids

I have to admit that I am a huge Sharpie lover. If I see colors that I love, I have to buy them. I have a secret stash of Sharpie markers that I am not ashamed of. Something that my kids and I discovered was that Sharpies work really well in nature. Check out some of these Nature Crafts with kid’s ideas involving Sharpie Extreme Markers.

I figured since it is fall, leaves are a great project. Take your kids on a walk and let them pick up as many leaves as they want. This is a simple craft and all you need is a large piece of white paper or the fabric of your choice.

You have your children simply trace the leaves onto the paper or fabric. From there, they can color the leaves with the Sharpies. I think it is fun and helps children with their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. 3 fall nature crafts using leaves

Rock Décor

My kids love doing this craft! Finding the rocks is truly the fun part.

I love going on walks with my kids and finding rocks in which we can color/decorate. Do you know how much fun you can have decorating rocks with Sharpies? I have seen my kids make some amazing rock décor with this nature craft. 3 fall nature crafts using leaves

Sharpie Artie

Another fun nature craft for kids, using Sharpie markers, is Sharpie Artie.

This is where you set up a little art center outside and let the kids go to town. I encourage my kids to draw something that is nature-ish, but I am pretty relaxed on what they draw. You cannot put limits on creativity.

I would love to hear your ideas for nature crafts with kids using Sharpies. I think it’s a fun and unique way to get outside and enjoy the outdoors, plus be creative.
