When a family is headed to Pittsburgh for a week full of fun, where do they stay? I was searching for hotels and I had a list of requirements. I wanted it to be safe, fun, and downtown. I came across the Hampton Inn & Suites in Pittsburgh. They agreed to host us for a few days and it was the best decision EVER!
Let me show you what it was like at Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh-Downtown for our family.
I have been to hotels that said they had “breakfast.” The Hampton Inn & Suites in Pittsburgh had more than breakfast. Not only did we save money by eating at the hotel for breakfast, but there was a feast to be had. It was kind of embarrassing how much my kids loved it. However, it was so nice just being able to enjoy a good hearty meal before hitting the town for the day.
Cozy & Functional Room
When you walk into the Hampton Inn & Suites, the whole entire hotel is clean. Chelsey was the person who seemed to be working a lot while we were there. She made us feel right at home. If I had questions or needed something, she took really good care of us. The room was huge and well worth the money spent as well. A King Suite is what we had. It was clean and had plenty of room. There are six of us in my family and we all slept comfortably. The first night it took a little getting used to, but the second and third nights, my entire family slept like rocks. The hotel room itself was very comfortable and had a really pretty view.
Downtown Walking Distance
We love to walk around and explore, which is what we did. The Hampton Inn & Suites in Pittsburgh is the only hotel that offers free parking, which was awesome. We actually didn’t drive the whole time we were there, we walked! My family walked to the Carnegie Science Museum, to the Pirate’s Stadium, and to actual Down Town. It was so nice to have a nice comfortable place to rest whenever we were done walking and exploring for the day.
Best Staff Around
I think a lot of hotels will say that they have amazing staff, but everyone was awesome at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Pittsburgh. I mentioned the customer service from Chelsey, but the breakfast staff and the staff in the morning were all amazing. The cleaning staff cleaned up after us, which was great. I’ll never forget how clean our room was each time we reentered it from being gone each day.
I personally want to thank the Hampton Inn & Suites in Pittsburgh for hosting us. You made our trip unforgettable. I look forward to many more trips to Pittsburgh while staying in your hotel. Thank you again, The Weavers.
Have you ever traveled to Pittsburgh? I’d love to hear what you thought about it. Our favorite was walking across the bridges, the architecture, and the people. We cannot wait to visit again.
