My Connect Care

I don’t know about you but as a wife and mother to a young family, it seems like I’m always busy. I always have my hands full with one thing or another and an constantly juggling multiple tasks at a time. The last thing I want to do is juggle everything else I have on my plate along with catching a bug or dealing with one or more little ones who’ve caught the bug. Not only does it make everyone miserable but 9 times out of 10 it also requires an unplanned visit to our pediatrician/PCP. There’s nothing I hate more than having to brave the doctors office when one or more of my family members have caught something; the wait is always long and the waiting rooms are always filled to bursting.

If this sounds like a typical visit to your doctor’s office then you’re not alone. I’ve often found myself wishing for a solution to nix out the long waits and costly visits. Even with insurance and on days when you’d least expect to find your doctors office busy it seems like there are always hidden cost images-11
s to pay and an endless stream of patients before you. The last time we went to our doctors office it took a handful of hours and a few hundred dollars to get seen; I swore then that I’d find an alternative no matter what. There just had to be an easier, less expensive way to get the care for my family that we needed.
Recently I learned that the way I had been looking for certainly did exist and it was actually affordable to boot. Enter #MyConnect Care: the all new way to get your illnesses addressed from the comfort of your home, without ever having to brave full waiting rooms. The best part is that there aren’t any hidden fees or high premiums. For a flat rate of $49 dollars you can use the Connect Care app to connect to an Intermountain Healthcare Clinician and get the answers you need 24/7/365. Whether you’re suffering from pink eye, sore throat, flu symptoms, sinus or ear pain, etc. you can get the answers you need from connecting to the app via your smarphone or tablet. Some insurance plans are even accepted so you might even be able to skip out on the $49 per “visit.”
