It’s that time of year again, time to make sure our kids are as hydrated as possible. Now, how do we ensure they’re hydrated? Check out some of these tips.

Drink Lots of Water

It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to know that your body needs lots and lots of water to stay hydrated. Your body is mostly made up of water, so it only makes sense to ensure your kids are drinking lots of it. Also, try to avoid really sugary drinks because they only take away from the ultimate purpose of hydration.

Fruits & Veggies

Your kids can get extra hydration from items like fruits and vegetables. Offer fruits and veggies as a snack to help give your kids the extra energy and hydration they need to stay happy and healthy.

Drink Frequently

When it comes to staying hydrated for kids, it’s important to drink frequently. Offering a liquid to your child often is one way to keep them hydrated. Your body can lose fluid quickly when you’re outside, so it’s important to keep adding those fluids to the body.

Make Liquids Fun

When kids are having fun, the last thing they want to do is stop playing to drink water. You can always make drinking liquids more fun by having them drink out of fun contraptions.
