Celebrate 100 Years of Our National Parks With National Geographic Kids Books

While I was growing up I always had a healthy love for nature. Back before modern technology took over, my childhood consisted largely of outside play and experiencing wildlife in the areas around my home. From plants to animals, there wasn’t anything about the outdoors that I didn’t enjoy as a child. Now, as an adult and parent, I like to think I’m doing my part in making sure my own children are as much fans of nature as I used to be. Rather than staying inside all day and parking in front of video games or cell phone screens, we often venture outside for our entertainment and aren’t disappointed with what our area has to offer. We especially love our National Parks.

Aside from outside play, National Geographic is a great way to introduce your little ones to the great outdoors and nature. Whether they like learning about new and exotic animals or about exotic places across the globe, National Geographic has something for everyone to enjoy. So, when I was given the opportunity to once again partner with National Geographic I was all to happy for the chance to once again read and learn with my children. This time around I was able to review a handful of their books about National Parks, places on the map where I’ve often dreamed of taking them in person.

Great giveaway! I was lucky to live near the Grand Canyon for four years and visited MANY times. Every time I went it was still awe inspiring and I loved seeing people’s faces when they saw the canyon for the first time!
