Source Outdoor Sandals-High Fives for Feet
Outdoor Source Sandals-High Fives for Feet
Living in Utah my family has experienced some really hot summers. Especially when we head to the state and national parks.
Last summer my daughter wanted to keep her feet cool on a hike. Instead of her usual hiking shoes she chose to wear Crocs.
When we arrived at the lake she got into the water. She was cool but by the end of the hike she had a nasty blister (a parenting blunder).
Blisters on kids and adults feet are disastrous while hiking.
Recently, I discovered
We wore our sandals hiking Zion’s National Park and Snow Canyon State Park in Utah. As avid outdoor adventurers we needed excellent footwear to support us no matter the terrain or conditions.
No Blisters with Source Outdoor Sandals
There were no complaints about blisters. We got in the water at the Narrows and they were quick drying. We climbed the white rocks and cinder cone trail with excellent traction. We built sand castles at the dunes and washed them.
The quality traction and non-smelly waterproof design were perfect for my twins who got into the water, sand and mud. I simply hosed them down. And because of the Velcro straps you can get a size up and they still fit their feet.
A sweet bonus for kids – the Classic Kids Sandal arrive in a pouch with a zipper on front and strings on the back. Whether this was designed or a coincidence, it’s brilliant.
My daughter used this as a mini backpack for snacks – fruit, trail mix, honey stinger waffles, juice box etc. It’s not sturdy enough to carry a large water bottle.
These sandals are ultra light with soft comfortable foot beds for serious hiking AND they kept our feet cool. They’re like high fives for our feet!
Note: I wore the Gobi women’s sandal and one daughter wore the Classic Kids Sandal. My other daughter wore the Crosser Kids Sandal and they were a little too tricky for her to put on by herself and the pouch they came in didn’t have the straps on the side to use as a backpack.
