Jon and I took a last minute trip to Logan, Utah in February. Logan is about 2 hours away from Salt Lake and needed to be somewhere at 8:45 AM.

Usually, we would have just driven early in the morning, but with a newborn it was easier to just spend the night.

Four hours before we left I booked our hotel.

I’ve never stayed in Logan, but was happy to find a Holiday Inn Express close by. I love Holiday Inn Express because they have a nice hot breakfast.

After joining AAA last year, I was curious to see what their travel discounts are like. I simply went to the AAA travel website: http://travel.aaa.com/ and searched for the hotel.

It took less than 15 minutes and was by far the best deal I could find.

When we arrived at the hotel, check in was easy and I was sure to add my member reward points to my account (who doesn’t love earning free hotel stays?)

The AAA membership only costs reasonable and have

AAA UTAH been well worth the investment. Not only do you get the discounts of your typical AAA benefitslike towing and road side assistance, but you’re covered in any care your in. So if you’re traveling with  a friend and their car breaks down, you’re covered.

There are also other great benefits and discounts of being a member. Right now they have discounted Disneyland and amusement park passes, car rental discounts and other deals on prescriptions, clothes and even eye care.

Plus, as an Adventure Mom reader, you can call this special membership hotline and they will take extra good care of you :)
