You may not be familiar with the name Alana Nichols, but she’s one of my new heroes and is a paralympian.

Not just because she got up, but because she’s giving back.

She has partnered with Citi and is helping others with disabilities stay in the game. Her organization supports US Paralympic skiers.

She’s had much adversity. In spite of her challenges, she is the only woman to win gold in the Winter and Summer Olympics.

U.S. Paralympian Alana Nichols is partnering with The Team USA Paralympic Champions Fund to increase financial support for athletes pursuing the dream of participating in the Paralympics.
They are inspiring others to get up when through the Every Step of the Way program.
Each athlete participating is helping a charity of their choice.
