IO Merino Wool Hoodigan Review

Back in the first of March Adventure Mom interviewed IO Merino where we introduced you to this great Australian company. Today we’re reviewing the Hoodigan by IO Merino in Sky.

When traveling on a road trip, I like to wear a fabric that is warm but not hot. I chose the IO Merino Hoodigan to wear as we traveled to Bryce Canyon. This proved to be a good choice. I wore it as a second layer over a t-shirt. The Hoodigan is made of super soft merino wool in a waffle stitch pattern. The fabric is made using 18.5 micon full-fleece fromt he best Merino wool grown across Australia. The color is very flattering and love the hood. I usually wear my hair up and the hood is large enough to cover my head with my hair up.

The fabric is machine-washable. The only thing you should be aware of is that Merino wool will still shrink a little in the wash. I had forgotten that when I threw it into the dryer and was afraid to find a sweater that had shrunk to fit my daughter, but luckily it didn’t shrink noticeably and still fit perfect.  Adventure Mom IO Marino The Hoodigan is the ideal layer for any wardrobe and has a super cute princess cut.
